I have two kids and 4 strollers in my house and every time we head out the door I grab the same one, the Baby Jogger, City Mini. With so many strollers out on the market today it is hard to know which one is the best and if it will fit all your needs but I have never yet to meet another City Mini owner who does not love the stroller. To help explain why I love this stroller so much I came up with my top 10 reasons why the City Mini is the perfect stroller.
1.The Fold
Lets get real for a minute – I totally judge a stroller on how easy it is to fold it up and unfold it. After all how many times are we opening and closing our stroller and getting it out of the car- a million times. The number one reason I love my city mini stroller is “The Fold”. This easy to fold stroller actually folds in one motion by pulling up on a tab and it just collapses. I have folded this stroller a thousand times while holding my youngest son in one arm and folding it with the other – it is that easy.
2. The Weight
Light enough to make it easy to swing it in to the back of my SUV yet heavy enough to feel stable. The fact that I can lift this stroller with one hand and move it from location to location is awesome – name one person out there who has a baby and two hands free?
3. The Options
This easy to use and easy to fall in love with stroller have many option such as a glider board that connects to the back for older kids, a bumper bar and drink holders.
4. The Canopy
I have been out at the park many times with other moms who have had to move or reposition their stroller so the sun is out of eyes of their baby – the City Mini features an extended canopy that goes down further than many other strollers and covers more of baby making everyone happy.
5. The Travel System
This stroller is really designed for babies starting at the age of 6 months but you can buy the infant car seat adapters like I did and snap your car seat right on top for an instant travel system!
6. The Seat
The City Mini seat reclines almost 100%, near flat which is perfect for baby is asleep and you want to keep moving. The seat is easy to move up and down as well with a pull string that makes moving the seat a breeze.
7. Storage
A large, nice sized storage compartment under the seat is perfect for the diaper bag or extra goodies. I have used this under storage for beach trips, grocery shopping or just my everyday purse.
8. The Grandma Stamp Of Approval
The City Mini is easy and light enough that even my mom loves to use it. Unlike some other strollers which are heavy or have complicated setups, the City Mini instantly received the Grandma stamp of approval.
9. The Wheels
Perfect wheels are one of my favorite features about this stroller. Large enough to handle all the different terrain but not so big that I can’t get them around a tight corner in a store.
10. The Durability
I am now using my City Mini for my second son and bought it for my first son over five years ago. Even with everyday use this stroller has yet to tear, rattle or breakdown. Unlike other strollers that I have bought, the City Mini holds up to the test of time making it my choice for #1 stroller!
