With nature as the backdrop, this stunning maternity session and infant session really took our breath away. One of our favorite parts about this session is the images where the mom-to-be is sitting on her bed pregnant and then in the same pose and outfit later with her new baby girl. From the mom-to-be: August 28th 2014 at 2:36 AM we welcomed our beautiful Emerson Rose into this world. Having gone through some of the most challenging and unexpected events, I held my baby girl for the first time and felt there could be nothing more natural in the world. Thanks to Robin Reiss Photography for capturing and sharing this session with us today. See more rustic maternity session and rustic infant sessions.
Being the eldest of four girls and part of a very large extended family, I always knew I wanted a big family. I envisioned myself surrounded by my own bevy of smiling, wriggling and boisterous children. I was so certain this would happen for me, that I put that dream on hold while I happily pursued my education and training. As an ob/gyn, after all, it is my practice and my privilege to be a part of the extraordinary events of pregnancy and childbirth. I am a quiet witness to those first special moments between mother, father and baby. It seemed there could be nothing more natural, or expected, than having a child, and nothing more precious. So I never imagined I would find myself struggling to start the family of my dreams.
